The Challenge
As a well-established hardware wholesaler, INGCO has been operating since 1991, providing their clientele of hardware retailers with the stock that they need to operate efficiently. But efficiency within INGCO was proving to be problematic.
“IT is crucial for us to provide not only the best products to our customers, but the best possible customer service as well,” explains Managing Director, Angelo Angelos. “It’s fundamental to the effective management of our ERP system, on top of being essential for communication.”
But INGCO was experiencing regular connectivity issues, both through their PBX phone system, and their devices, making it ever more difficult for them to manage their externally-maintained ERP server. When their ERP system itself also began experiencing regular problems, they decided that it was time for a change.
“Despite investing in both ADSL and LTE broadband, and operating an on-site Telkom-based PBX system, our connectivity was unstable and unreliable, making it difficult for us to operate at the level of customer service that our clients needed,” says Angelos. “We want to be able to support our retailers, but we weren’t getting support from our providers. We needed someone reliable, who could provide us with redundancy, support and security.”
The Solution
“We heard about Solid Systems through one of our sister companies, and they came highly recommended,” explains Angelos. “Once we met with co-founder, Daniel, there was no doubt in our minds that we’d made the right choice.”
Since moving to Solid Systems, INGCO are able to:
- Take advantage of fast and reliable Fibre connectivity
- Communicate effectively through VoIP thanks to their Cloud PBX
- Monitor network and device activity remotely
- Proactively maintain their infrastructure
- Efficiently manage stock through their Cloud ERP solution
“Using Solid Systems has been a game-changer for us,” says Angelos. “Since implementing their solutions, productivity and efficiency have been through the roof.”
